The Legacy Foundation’s Annual Funding Forum is an event that provides various opportunities for non-profit organizations in the RGV. Attendees are given information on some new projects in the RGV, the Legacy Foundation’s grant cycles, and the grant application process. Non-profits are also allowed the time and space to showcase their work and network with other non-profits and funding organizations that they can collaborate with.

“As a non-profit professional I’m amazed as to what the funding forum was able to accomplish. It not only gave us the opportunity for much needed funding information, but as a spectacular bonus, the Funding Forum was an amazing opportunity that allowed nonprofits to share and learn from one another, to spark fresh conversations, and to create new possibilities and ideas for networking. I’m so grateful for what The Legacy Foundation is doing, not only with the funding you provide, but also with the dedication you have towards our community. Thank you!”
– Monica Skrzypinski (Buckner Children and Family Services) 2017 Funding Forum Participant

“Meeting other Legacy Foundation grantee organizations was a great way to understand the Foundation’s goal of increasing healthcare access for everyone in the lower Rio Grande Valley. Not only was I informed of the latest grant application developments, but the networking time allowed my Executive Director and I to meet and possibly collaborate with another agency to supplement each other’s services and broaden our programs.”
– Christine Cavazos (Moody Clinic) 2017 Funding Forum Participant
