RGV Mental Health Assessment

August 5, 2026

We are pleased to share a new Mental Health Assessment conducted by Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute. The assessment offers a data-informed look at the current mental health landscape, helping to identify key needs, existing resources, service gaps, and opportunities for collaboration. By bringing together research, community perspectives, and regional data, the report provides a foundation for meaningful conversations about strengthening mental health supports and improving access to care.

We encourage community leaders, healthcare providers, educators, nonprofits, policymakers, and residents to review the assessment and consider how its findings can help guide future efforts. We hope this resource serves as a catalyst for collaboration and collective action as we work toward a healthier future for our region.
